Given poor hemodynamic and right ventricular tolerance, the initial settings were restored (PEEP 5 cmH₂O). In a few minutes, systolic blood pressure increased to 130 mmHg, systolic index of the RV to 23 ml/m², and heart rate dropped to 110 bpm. TEE demonstrated a clear decrease in right ventricular systolic overload.
