Acute Cor Pulmonale - Film n°9

TEE in a female patient on controlled mechanical ventilation because of ARDS due to massive inhalation. After several days of ventilation, the patient developed ACP. Using color Doppler, with the two-dimensional image (on the right) coupled to M-mode (on the left), TEE reveals a patent foramen ovale (orange flow).
